Bribie Island State High School is a co-educational secondary school with 1100 students, located on Bribie Island with a population of 18 000. Bribie Island is a popular tourist destination located less than one hour’s drive north of Brisbane, Queensland’s capital city. Bribie Island is a 34 kilometre long sand island, national and marine park, linked to the mainland by bridge. Bribie Island boasts pristine beaches and waterways, providing many opportunities for a variety of watersports and camping adventures. The heritage listed Glasshouse Mountains and world-class beaches of the Sunshine Coast are also within an hour’s drive of Bribie Island.
